Visiting Slovenia

This section provides some very basic information on a few major tourist attractions in Slovenia. Even if your stay is a brief one, you can take home some pleasant memories of our small but beautiful country.

Slovenia’s diversity allows one to sip cappuccino beside the Adriatic Sea in the morning, go shopping and sightseeing in the capital in the afternoon, and, in the evening, enjoy a romantic walk beside a picturesque lake, nestled amidst Alpine peaks.

There are numerous possibilities for entertainment and relaxation. You can spend your leisure time on one of  eight golf courses, enjoy sauna, massage or refreshing swim at a spa resorts or try your luck at one of ten casinos.

You cannot but notice Slovenia's diversity as regards language, customs, cuisine and landscape, and indeed it is these which reflect the natural and cultural heritage of this land at the juncture of the Mediterranean, Alps and the Pannonian plains of Central Europe.
