MedCruise elects new President, representative of Luka Koper in new Board of Directors


At the 39th MedCruise General Assembly in Sète, France Stavros Hatzakos was elected new president of MedCruise.  Hatzakos (Piraeus Port Authority) was elected to a 3-year term and acted as vice president of the association in the past.
The assembly also elected the ports that will serve on its new Board of Directors. Odessa, Ukraine, represented by Yuriy Vaskov, was elected its senior vice president and Koper, Sloveniarepresented by Bojan Babič, was elected vice president. 

MedCruise (Association of Mediterranean Cruise Ports) has 55 members representing 78 ports and 20 associate members, representing other associations, tourist boards and ship/port agents. Their mission is promotion of the cruise industry in the Mediterranean and its adjoining seas.
