Seabourn Spirit launches tourist season at Koper Passenger Terminal

On Thursday, 25th April, Seabourn Spirit will inaugurate this year's cruise ships season at Koper. It is a smaller, 134 m long ship with 104 rooms/suits that can accommodate 208 passengers. The Yachts of Seabourn owned by Carnival Corporation has been our partner for years; it operates three smaller and three larger vessels. Seabourn offers the highest quality cruises, mainly to passengers interested in luxury services.

A friendly new feature of our passenger terminal is a better view of the terminal with more eye-catching surroundings. Shortly we will set up some overhead roofs whereas in order to provide better efficiency and facilitate the work of border authority officials, three compartments have been arranged in the temporary prefabricated object. May 1st holidays will be quite busy: On Friday, 3rd May, we expect two ships; i.e. Norwegian Jade and Silver Wind. Two days later we will welcome Thomson Majesty, on Monday, 6th May, Kristina Katarina (by Finnish shipping company) and on Tuesday Riviera owned by Oceania Cruises. These cruise ships will bring to Slovenia a total of about 6,000 passengers in 6 days.

In 2013 season we expect 53 cruise ships with about 67,000 passengers aboard; little less than one third will arrive to Koper in September and October.
