At the meeting, the participants discussed the possibilities for expanding economic cooperation, talked about the sustainable challenges of logistics and the advantages of using the southern transport route for goods travelling between the hinterland countries and the USA. In addition, the President Boštjan Napast presented the guests the port’s organisation and operations, as well as the business results of the past year. After the meeting, the delegation also visited the port.

The Port of Koper was visited by Her Excellency Jamie L. Harpootlian, Ambassador of the United States of America to Slovenia, and her colleagues. She was received by Boštjan Napast, President of the Management Board of the Port of Koper.
