A little over a year after the business reception we organized in Belgrade following a hiatus of several years, a delegation from the Port of Koper returned to the Serbian capital. The event, held at a prominent location near the Kalemegdan Fortress, brought together more than 150 business partners, potential clients and representatives of Slovenian logistics companies, freight forwarders, and other members of the port community. The gathering provided an opportunity to reinforce long-standing partnerships, exchange views, and open new business opportunities.
The participants were addressed by the President of the Management Board of Luka Koper, Nevenka Kržan, who was joined in Belgrade by Management Board members Gregor Belič and Gorazd Jamnik. “In times of rapid change and global challenges, we at Luka Koper remain focused on growth and development. With our largest investment cycle to date – ranging from the expansion of the northern quay area of the Container Terminal and a new, nearly fully automated and energy self-sufficient warehouse for steel coils, to a new berth with a quayside infrastructure for general and project cargo and a multi-storey parking garage – we are strengthening our capacities and creating the conditions for future business opportunities. At the same time, we remain committed to sustainability, digitalization, and partnerships that ensure reliability and long-term value for our customers”, said Ms. Kržan.
The event was also attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Belgrade, H.E. Dr. Slobodan Šešum, who supports the operations of the Port of Koper and is committed to further strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
