The ATLANTIS project was approved for co-financing under the public tender HORIZON-CL5-2024-D6-01-07 »Safe, Resilient Transport and Smart Mobility services for passengers and goods«.  Luka Koper company is a member of the HOLOGISTICS project consortium, where in addition to the other Slovenian partners (Adria Kombi, Pošta Slovenije in Solvesall) there are 20 project partners from 12 European countries (Italy, UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Greece, Estonia, Latvia, Finland, Norway, Portugal and Belgium).

HOLOGISTICS will create and apply an open standard interoperable scalable suite of physical and digital innovations that accelerate decarbonisation in logistics networks while increasing operational efficiency and agility. The overall objective is to show that not only do these innovations deliver benefits directly, but also that they are interoperable and scalable and form part of a larger collaborative Physical Internet. The project will demonstrate, test, analyse and scale up interoperable digital and physical technologies and supporting collaborative business models in industrial pilots spanning multiple nodes, networks, modes and stakeholders. In addition, advanced visualisation and simulation models and tools will be used to show the practical use of the HOLOGISTICS collaborative models and technologies for a wider range of shippers and operations.

The Slovenian pilot case will focus on the use of artificial intelligence and algorithms to support advanced warehousing at the Container Terminal in order to reduce unproductive movements and optimize storage areas at the Car Terminal, as well as the use of advanced technologies in the development of fleet management at the Port of Koper.
