As from 7th July 2021 CMA CGM is starting a new short-sea service, connecting three Turkish ports with weekly calls to Koper. The main advantages of the TMX3 (Turkey Med Express 3) is a short transit times while also being a more environment friendly alternative to the road truck transport from Turkey to CE Europe. Two vessels with a capacity of 850 TEU each will be deployed on the rotation Ambarli – Gebze – Gemlik – Trieste – Koper – Venice – Malta – Ambarli.
