The exit to the northern bypass is merely a temporary solution that will be used only in exceptional cases until a permanent arrangement is established at the Sermin entrance with a direct connection to the highway network.
Transport from the port is entirely the responsibility of the carrier – the company Prangl which has previously obtained all necessary permits. Additional information available at PROMET.SI.
The remaining blades will leave the port over the next seven Mondays
Two shipments of wind turbines are scheduled for this year. The first ship carrying seven sets of wind turbines was unloaded in March, and the next one is scheduled to arrive at the port in May. Several special transport operations will be organized for each shipment. Only the wind turbines will be transported via the exit to the northern bypass.
The transport of the wind turbines will take place via fourteen special transports. The first of which is scheduled for today, April 13, at 10 p.m., followed by weekly transports at the same time every Monday, with the exception of April 27, when freight traffic restrictions are in effect due to public holidays.
