This modern multi‑system locomotive, designed for operation in Slovenia and several European countries, can reach a maximum speed of 160 km/h and delivers 6.4 MW of power. Delivered at the end of May, Nina measures 19 metres in length and weighs around 89 tonnes.
On the tracks, Nina will stand out for its distinctive design, reflecting the blue of the Slovenian sea and featuring stylised motifs of the Slovenian mountains. Across its many destinations, it will symbolise both the geographic diversity of Slovenia and the boundless nature of international logistics, a hallmark of Adria Transport’s operations to and from the Port of Koper.
Nina joined her sister locomotives – Marija, Irena, Katja, Vanja, Ingrid and Tamara – becoming the seventh locomotive in Adria Transport’s fleet.
