At the Port of Koper, we believe that responsibility towards the community lies at the heart of our social mission. Therefore, we continue our tradition of solidarity this year as well. Last week, we made a donation to the “Refrigerator with a Warm Heart” charity fund, supporting one of the most heartfelt regional initiatives.
Our contribution, together with that of many companies and generous individuals, helps improve the quality of life for individuals and families in the Coastal‑Karst region and beyond. The “Refrigerator with a Warm Heart” campaign, organised for the eleventh consecutive year by the Slovenian Association of Friends of Youth (ZPMS) and Radio Capris, received a EUR 10,000 donation from the Port of Koper. The funds will be used in 2026 to help children and young people from socially disadvantaged families, covering essential expenses such as kindergarten and school fees, school supplies, clothing, participation in outdoor education, summer camps, rent, utility bills, and other basic living costs.
At the Radio Capris studio, the symbolic cheque was presented on behalf of the company by Nevenka Kržan, President of the Management Board of the Port of Koper, and gratefully accepted by Breda Krašna, Secretary General of ZPMS.
