This year, the joint presentation of Slovenia’s logistics sector was held under the slogan Reliability in Motion, Excellence at the Destination. The Slovenian exhibition area was lively throughout the four days of the fair. It opened with a business forum titled Slovenia Moves the World: Connecting Continents through Smart Logistics, featuring, among others, Minister of Economy, Tourism and Sport Matjaž Han and Nevenka Kržan, President of the Management Board of the Port of Koper. They were later joined by H. E. Ana Polak Petrič, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Berlin, and Maša Šiftar, Consul General of Slovenia in Munich, who both visited the Slovenian pavilion.
The following day, the spotlight moved to the Port of Koper stand, where we presented business opportunities through our port. The event attracted more than 300 business partners and guests. In her opening address, Nevenka Kržan, President of the Management Board of the Port of Koper, highlighted the importance of the Company’s ongoing investments: “The Port of Koper is extending its container quay by more than 300 metres, increasing capacity from the current 1.13 million TEUs to 1.8 million TEUs. Equally significant are the investments in the expansion of the Car Terminal, including the construction of a new multi‑storey garage, providing a total of 11,500 parking spaces. We are also building the Berth No. 12, dedicated to project cargo, and a highly automated warehouse for steel coils.”

Gregor Belič, Member of the Management Board, took part as a speaker in a panel discussion organised by Advantage Austria, while he also presented the role of the Port of Koper to the media at the Mosolf Group stand. As in previous years, the Port of Koper was represented at the world’s largest logistics fair by a large delegation, consisting mainly of sales representatives and terminal managers.
