The new spacer frame is a non-standard, one-off product which is designed to meet our operational and occupational safety requirements. It can carry up to five sheet-metal rolls simultaneously. The spacer frame can be used in conjunction with either a mobile ship-to-shore crane or a container handler used for the loading/unloading of train wagons. The frame’s lifting capacity is 70 tonnes in the first case and 40 tonnes in the second. If overloaded, it can lift even more, namely 80 and 45 tonnes, respectively.
