The precise quantity of vehicles from Koper port to Far East markets has not yet been defined, although there is an expectation of more than 100.000 vehicles annually. “The Port of Koper, with its throughput of almost 519.000 vehicles last year has maintained its position as the second largest automobile terminal between EU ports in the Mediterranean. The decision of Daimler to choose our port is a great honor for us but also a great responsibility. I am convinced that with the quality of our services in the port and the reliability of transport links with the port hinterland we will justify the confidence of the German partner in the Slovenian logistics system”, stated the CEO of Luka Koper Dragomir Matić during a reception in the occasion of the first shipment of Mercedes – Benz cars.
The Success of Luka Koper on the tender is the result of years of good work and cooperation with the Daimler group, which is already present in Koper with their vehicles.
