The first roadshow event was scheduled on 13th November in Prague and attracted around 180 participants, including forwarders, maritime agents and other operators from the Czech logistics sector, but also from Koper’s port community. The guests were greeted by the president of the management board of Luka Koper, d.d., Mr. Dimitrij Zadel and by the ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia Ms. Tanja Strniša. The Czech market is among the important ones for Luka Koper, especially for the container segment, with a throughput of around 70.000 TEUs in 2018. The next day, the 14th November was the turn of Vienna. The impressive setting of the Natural History Museum was the venue for around 260 Austrian business partners from the logistic and transport sector. The guests had the opportunity to hear about the latest developments of the port of Koper with special emphasis on current investments project.  There are four major constructions sites active in the port right now, with ongoing construction of new facilities for container and car/RO-RO segment.
The Luka Koper days continue at the end of November with business receptions in Budapest and Bratislava.
