SafePort or Port and management of industrial and environmental risks is part of the cross-border program Slovenia – Italy and is co-financed by ERDF* (85%) and the national budget (15%). The project is promoting the development of strategies and common plans to eliminate and reduce environmental risks in the ports of Ravenna, Chioggia, Venice, Monfalcone, Nogaro, Trieste and Koper. The project has a very wide range of activities: emergency situations, emissions, oil spills, safety at work, risks connected to handling of dangerous cargo.
