Due to restrictions related to the coronavirus epidemic, this year we had to cancel our traditional Port Day, when we open the gates of Slovenia’s only cargo port to individual visitors for a day. However, to mark the birthday of the Port of Koper, which our company celebrated on May 23rd, we organised three attractive events.
On Friday, May 21st, we opened an exhibition of photographs by Kristjan Stojaković entitled INSIDER at the Port of Koper Gallery, next to the Koper Bastion (opposite the Passenger Terminal).
On Saturday, May 22nd, we welcomed the Olympic Torch to the Port of Koper. Since our company has been a sponsor of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia for more than twenty years, we decided to dedicate this year’s Port Day to Olympism.
On Sunday, May 23rd, we launched the video Luka Koper 360°, which will take you into the hidden corners of the port that you would not otherwise be able to see. The experience will be even more immersive if you watch the video via the YouTube app on your smartphone.
